About Central Florida Rowing

Central Florida Rowing is a highly competitive racing team and nonprofit organization dedicated to making an impact in the local community. On the water, our team is known for delivering strong, consistent results. Off the water, our student-athletes excel in the classroom and actively volunteer with various organizations to give back to the community that supports us.

Founded in 1972 under the leadership of Coach Dennis Kamrad, Central Florida Rowing is the oldest sports club at the University of Central Florida. For more than 50 years, our program has achieved success at the state, regional, and national levels. Our success is built on the hard work and support of our athletes, coaches, alumni, staff, friends, and families.
